Introduction: How to Run Any Depin AI Project on Your Ubuntu VPS Using a Google Chrome Extension
Running Depin AI projects on a VPS is an effective way to access advanced AI tools without relying on high-powered local devices. In this guide, I’ll show you a straightforward method to set up and run any Depin AI project on an Ubuntu VPS through a Google Chrome extension and Docker container. By using Docker, you can access the setup conveniently from your mobile or desktop browser, keeping CPU utilization low while efficiently running the project. Follow the steps below for a seamless configuration that works well on both mobile and desktop platforms.
Disclaimer:
Since this setup runs on a VPS, it’s important to note that data center IPs can be easily detected, potentially leading to account restrictions or bans. To reduce this risk, I recommend creating a fresh account specifically for this setup. This method isn’t guaranteed to work without issue, so treat it as a trial where success may vary based on detection.
The following items will be required:
- VPS is required here OS- Ubuntu, you can get a free VPS from Oracle.
- A residential proxy is required here to avoid the ban. You can run it without a proxy. You can buy a proxy from here.
Buy VPS:
In this guide, I recommend Contabo because it was tested and fully functional, if you decide to use another VPS, you can encounter issues with this node.

Proxy-cheap setup:
I recommend Proxy-Cheap for an affordable proxy solution. You can buy the proxy here: https://app.proxy-cheap.com/r/NDMPNQ (Please buy it with my referral link as support me for keep sharing great articles)
- Once you sign up, add your Billing details, and top up around $5$. You will get the crypto option. I suggest going with the crypto.
- Once you top-up now set up your residential proxy, Follow the SS below.
- Once done, click "Show Details" to view your username and password.
- If you would like, you can upgrade your speed to 300 Mbit for an additional $1.
Not every residential proxy is compatible with Grass Network/Gradient Network; I have personally tested it, which is why I recommend using it.
Set-up Google Chromium :
- Execute the below-automated script, which was created by me.
wget -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rajeshpalei/CryptonodeHindi/refs/heads/main/chromevmbot.sh&& chmod +x chromevmbot.sh&& ./chromevmbot.sh- You will be prompted to enter your username and password.
- Once it is done it will show this screen:
- Now you can access it from any browser. Edit your IP and use it in any browser.
http://<ipaddress>:3050- Now, It will prompt for username and password.
- The setup is complete; you will able to access the Chrome browser which is running on your VPS.
Let’s set up the proxy in Chrome:
- Download the proxy-cheap extensions here: Proxy-Cheap Proxy Manager
- Fill in the details and connect it. Once it is connected, check your IP here WHAT IS MY IP; it should point to the proxy-cheap IP.

Set Up the Auto Refresh:
- Download the Auto Refresh Plus extensions
- Open any tab, and click on the auto-refresh extension icon to set up the refresh interval.
- Follow the below setup and start it. It will ask for permission to access that page grant the access.
If you want to run multiple Chromium browsers on your KaSM VNC, follow the steps below.
You can achieve this by creating multiple browser profiles. Each profile allows you to add extensions independently. Essentially, each profile acts as a separate browser.
- Purchase a proxy from Proxy-Cheap and install the Proxy-Cheap extension.
- Go to the “Profile” section and add a new profile, as shown in the screenshot below.
- Customize your browser as needed for each profile.
- Install all the required dependencies.
Note: Your CPU utilization might increase depending on the number of profiles you add. Monitor your system’s performance frequently.
To uninstall the Chromium browser from your VPS, please execute the below command.
